Terms & Conditions

By placing an order with Black Dog Printing and paying the deposit you are approving the order invoice, artwork proof given, and the following Terms and Conditions:

PAYMENT


100% deposit must be made before production begins.   Payments can be made by Credit / Debit card, Paypal, Check, Money Order, or Cash. A $30 charge will be issued for returned checks.

ARTWORK


All artwork files must be 300dpi or vector format. All text must be converted to outlines. We will adjust artwork print size to what we thing looks best unless customer specifies specific print dimensions. Printing can only be as good as the artwork. Black Dog Printing will not be responsible for poor quality printing due to poor artwork.

TURNAROUND


Average turnaround for most orders is 10-15 business days (Mon – Fri) plus shipping time. This turn around time is not guaranteed. Adding Tags, Foiling, or other custom print locations will extend the turn around time.

MUST HAVE DATES


Black Dog Printing will do everything we can to meet any must-have date, but we cannot guarantee it. Rush fees may apply. Customer will be responsible for any expedited shipping charges associated with the order.

SHIPPING


Black Dog Printing is not responsible for any loss, damage or shipping delays caused by the delivery carrier.

PRINTABLE AREAS


Please note that not all shirts will be sewn exactly the same; these dimensions are to be used for reference as a “safe” zone to avoid printing on any seams or edges.

  • Girls Small – 11” W x 18” H

  • Girls Medium – 12” W x 19” H

  • Girls Large – 12” W x 20” H

  • Girls Extra Large – 12” W x 21” H

  • Unisex Extra Small – 12” W x 20” H

  • Unisex Small – 14” W x 20” H

  • Unisex Medium – 15” W x 22” H

  • Unisex Large – 17” W x 24” H

  • Youth Small – 13” W x 13” H

  • Youth Medium – 13” W x 16” H

  • Youth Large – 14” W x 19” H

NOTE: Any print that goes over a seam can result in imperfections in the print.

PRINTING OVER SEAMS


Inconsistencies may occur in ink coverage and registration when printing over the seams, collar or any other edges. Large prints run the risk of printing over seams. Black Dog Printing is not responsible for these inconsistencies.

ORDERS INCLUDING FOILING OR TAGS


All orders including foiling or tag printing must be given an additional 4 business to the turn around.

CANCELLED ORDERS


Orders may be cancelled up until the deposit is made. Once the deposit is made, no refunds will be issued.

GARMENT VARIANCES


Black Dog Printing cannot guarantee variances in size/shades/construction of garments and merchandise.

INK COLORS


If the customer does not specify a Pantone color out of a Coated Pantone Book, then Black Dog Printing uses its best guess according to our art department’s monitor. We will pick a specific Pantone for that order, and use it on all other orders to keep consistency. Ink color may vary depending on print style, garment type, or garment blend. Black Dog Printing is not responsible for these color variances.

PRICING


Black Dog Printing has the right to change pricing without notice.

Example: John Doe contacts Upstate Merch for a quote on Monday . On Tuesday, Black Dog Printing changes their pricing due to rising cotton prices. Later that day John Doe places an order, but the pricing on his invoice reflects the current pricing from Black Dog Printing.

MISPRINTS


Black Dog Printing will not be responsible for misprints up to 5% per design.

POLYESTER / BLENDED ITEMS


Polyester items can be a struggle to print on depending on the brand or the way they were dyed. The reason polyester can be a struggle to print on is because of a reaction known as dye migration. Dye migration is basically just as it sounds; small dye particles moving from one place (fabric) to another (ink). This causes an unwanted change or tint in ink color. We combat this by using special Polyester inks and bleed blockers. We fight this issue, but once in a while there is a chance for some bleeding depending on the garment. Black Dog Printing is not responsible for this issue.


THE APPAREL BRAND I RECEIVED IS DIFFERENT FROM WHAT I ORDERED.


When your order is placed, our team orders your apparel blanks from our distributor. Sometimes that item is out of stock. In this case, we will order a brand that is comparable or better than the apparel you chose. We need to make those on the fly decisions to make sure we get your blanks on time to produce your order.


TRADEMARKS & LICENSING


Black Dog Printing is not liable for the use of Trademarked or Licensed Images, and customer assumes full responsibility for the use there of.

CLAIMS OR ERRORS


All claims must be submitted within 72 hours of date of delivery. Please email info@blackdogprinting.org to submit your claim. In the case of an error, 100% of items must be returned to Black Dog Printing or the reprint will not be allowed.

Black Dog Printing has the right to change prices and terms and conditions without notice.
